NURSE'S DAY. @MAY 12

What a coincidence! The world has now truly begun to understand the value of healthcare workers amidst the corona virus pandemic and guess what its nurse day.In my opinion this nurse day should be celebrated like none before as it is now that we need them the most. But mark my word this isn't going to be another long essay about the corona virus.(You don't deserve even that you virus!)This will be like usual a fun ,entertaining, and factual piece of  entertainment . SO Buckle up,tie your seatbelts and let's go(God it's been so long since I have been on a flight)

Historically, as well as today, nurses are at the forefront of fighting epidemics and pandemics -  providing high quality and respectful treatment and care. They are often the first and sometimes the only health professional that people see and the quality of their initial assessment, care and treatment is vital.

Nurses account for more than half of all the world’s health workers, yet there is an urgent shortage of nurses worldwide with 5.9 million more nurses still needed, especially in low- and middle-income countries.Like the saying says that a general is nothing without its soilders,  a doctor is nothing without its nurses.

I would like to end by stating that nurses are the core and centerpiece for healthcare workers and it is high time that we start appreciating them
