How fun it is to spend an afternoon with your dog. Known as a man's best friend,it is one of the best domestic animal.So August 26 is the day dedicated to these species.

Dogs have many good attributes and that's way I believe everyone should have a dog as a pet.It adapts well to other environments and other species you know dogs can be one of the most intelligent species around.Ya apart from you.Dogs are good listeners.They inherit traits from organisms.They are even fearless so that means they can be good guards.Many dogs are kept as pets for 2 reasons.Guarding and entertainment.

Fun facts:
1. There are approximately 78 million pet dogs in the U.S., living in 39% of American households.
2. The most popular name for a male dog is Max and for a female is Bella.
3. An Australian Cattle Dog named Bluey holds the Guinness world record for the oldest dog ever. He lived 29 years and 5 months.
4. The tallest living dog on record is Zeus, a Great Dane who measures 44 inches at the shoulder. The smallest is Milly, a Chihuahua who is only 3.8 inches tall.
5. A dog’s sense of smell is at least 1,000 times greater than that of a human.

So August 26 is the day you should spend time with your dog or if you do not have you should buy one. Dogs are wonderful pets.. hope we give them some importance.

“VIRUS”… Not such a pleasant word right. We always believe that viruses are pathogens that invade our body. Most of the diseases around are caused by viruses. Viruses are present everywhere even in the air you breath. We often get confused between bacteria and a virus.
