Chocolate Chip Day @May 15



Chocolate.Who doesn't love chocolate.The most perfectly made food or dessert of all time.It is incomparable. Everyone loves chocolate , the kids , the adults and even the elderly. Whether you eat it as a cookie or use chocolate chips in a cake or ice cream, it doesn't matter as it is simply delicious.See as usual I would have gone speaking about chocolate but let's note this it is chocolate chip day not chocolate day. We will save the chocolate history for another day.

It all started at a little place you may recognize the name of, the Toll House Inn. Located in Whitman, Massachusetts, it just happens to be the home of that most favorite of cookies, the chocolate chip cookie. Ruth Graves Wakefield had originally planned on making a chocolate cookie, and decided to do so by throwing in chunks of a chocolate bar into it. In a happy accident, it turned out that the chocolate did not melt and mix with the rest of the cookie, but maintained its shape, filling the cookie with delicious little chocolate bits.

Thus was born the chocolate chip cookie, and the Toll House Cookie Company! From that day forward there have been new forms of chocolate chip added, white chocolate chip, mint chocolate, milk chocolate, bittersweet chocolate, even dark chocolate!

Poet's Day@21st August

Johny Johny Yes Papa. Such a small and nice poem. Mahabharata, the longest poem, has 1.8 million words while Johnny Johnny has only 54. You can easily say the writer of Johnny Johnny had an easier job. Actually a poet’s job is never easy. August 21 is the day we should appreciate the work of them.   Poetry, also known as verse, is a type of literature that utilises sound and images to express ideas and feelings. There are various types of poetry, from haikus, limericks, riddles, sonnets and so on. WORLD OCTOPUS DAY @ 8th OCT 2018

Octopi have took inhabited the world a long time before us about 256 years ago. The octopus is a soft-bodied, eight-limbed mollusc of the order Octopoda. Around 300 species are recognised, and the order is grouped within the class Cephalopoda with squids, cuttlefish, and nautiloids. Like other cephalopods, the octopus is bilaterally symmetric with two eyes and a beak, with its mouth at the center point of the 8 limbs. The soft body can rapidly alter its shape, enabling octopuses to squeeze through small gaps. They trail their eight appendages behind them as they swim. Fun facts: 1. A 50-pound octopus can squeeze through a hole only 2 inches in diameter. If their beak fits, they can get   through. 2. They are about 90 percent muscle. 3. You can tell a male octopus from a female by looking at the tip of its third arm on the right (starting between the eyes and going clockwise).
